You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet tools to document activities and assist visitors and tenants. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach to a reliable, innovative team.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while following established post orders and applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
