Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Professional in Galveston, TX. You will provide customer service, perform patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents following site protocols.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site protocols; contact emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift handoffs per Allied Universal and site requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
