Allied Universal in Albany, GA is seeking a Security Officer Driver Vehicle Patrol. This full-time, unarmed position involves patrolling hospital facilities, maintaining visibility to deter incidents, and supporting access control while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ years of age, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen. Pay is $15.00 per hour with varied day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Driver Vehicle Patrol in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control while providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
