Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol Customer Service in Louisville, KY. You will provide customer service, conduct routine unarmed patrols at a chemical/petrochemical location, and support access control and incident reporting while maintaining a visible security presence.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, and you will work a part-time schedule with weekend nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors as part of security procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-support areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol observations, incidents, access activity, and security-related equipment concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
