Allied Universal in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor and protect a chemical and petrochemical location. You will provide customer service, follow site policies, and report incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

This role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Fri 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sat 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) with a focus on safety, teamwork, and professional growth through our training and perks program.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical logistics location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, loading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry, documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a chemical and petrochemical location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report observations, support access procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical logistics location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, loading areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site requirements, documenting visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity as required.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
