Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points; verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and contractor requirements; and maintain accurate entry, exit, and visitor records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access in accordance with established site procedures, including directing authorized personnel to designated locations.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
