Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Security Officer Driver Patrol Crime Deterrence in Pomona, CA. You will perform unarmed patrols at a retail location, deter security incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while complying with driver policy requirements.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and meet minimum requirements, including age and education. Background checks and drug screens are required where permitted by law.

• Mon: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Tue: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and/or property concerns to appropriate store personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and documentation of daily activities and incidents in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
