Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Riverside, CA. You will provide customer service to shoppers and employees while patrolling facilities to deter incidents and support a safe environment.

This full-time, hourly position requires a valid driver’s license and adherence to site policies. You will respond to incidents, log activities, and assist with access control, delivering dependable security services across retail locations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, visitor and vendor interactions, and documentation of incidents and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
