Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Building Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA. You will patrol unarmed, manage access control, and support badge/visitor processing at an automotive site while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive corporate and business location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking lots, vehicle storage areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Building Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support badge and visitor processes. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
