Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Access Control in LIMA, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide professional communication and customer service while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to deter unauthorized entry into sensitive aerospace and defense-related areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in support of Allied Universal and site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
