Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for our Downtown Tower location in San Antonio, TX. This full-time role involves serving tenants and visitors, patrolling unarmed, monitoring entry points, and reporting incidents per site procedures.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; 18+ for unarmed roles, background check and drug screen will be conducted. Guard card or license is preferred; driving positions require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site procedures.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the property, including entrances, exits and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions and security incidents to the proper personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation per site requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer- Downtown Tower in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Patrol Officers for a commercial real estate location. Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property, including building common areas, parking facilities, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
