Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• CPR/First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and media location by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed, maintaining logs and reports for incidents and daily activities.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, dispatch, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a telecommunications and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports for security-related incidents and daily activities.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, dispatch, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed while supporting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
