Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Screening) in Tracy, CA. You will monitor access points, screen personnel and deliveries, and patrol designated areas to deter incidents while maintaining a professional, welcoming environment.

Position type: Part Time. Pay rate: $19.40 per hour. Schedule includes daytime shifts on weekends and weekdays. You will join a team that values agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include a guard card or license; 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state and locality.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries entering designated areas according to procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and visually inspect belongings, parcels, and freight as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly; communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouses, entry points, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or delivery items entering designated areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct visual inspections of belongings, parcels, and freight as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated loading areas, warehouse spaces, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
