Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.

• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; verify credentials and direct individuals to locations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate to appropriate contacts or emergency personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure; report hazards.
• Document daily activities and incidents in required reports and logs.

As a Security Officer Distribution Patrol in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and critical infrastructure locations; report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.


• Document daily activities, incidents, observations, and access-related information accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
