Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entries, issuing access badges, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.


• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, business operations, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, access events, incidents, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
