Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and report conditions affecting facility operations and perimeter integrity.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate findings to leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Response in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, support access control activities, and deliver exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor and report conditions that may affect facility operations, controlled-access areas, and perimeter integrity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
