Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time distribution center in Anaheim, CA. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and provide professional customer service to personnel and drivers.

Daily duties include patrolling, responding to incidents, and documenting security activity while maintaining site policies and procedures. Requires high school diploma and background check; pays $18.25 per hour with a mix of day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report irregular conditions, policy violations, and damaged access-control equipment according to site-specific reporting procedures.
