Job summary

Allied Universal in Seattle, WA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Dispatch Console. You will coordinate communications, dispatch personnel to incidents, and monitor security systems while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers a flexible day-time schedule, opportunities to learn our Claim a Shift platform, and a path to additional shifts within a supportive team that puts people first.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, transit riders, and personnel following site policies.
• Monitor communications, receive calls, and dispatch personnel to incidents or service requests.
• Respond calmly to incidents, coordinating with on-site personnel and public agencies.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, transit riders, and personnel by following site‑specific policies, security‑related procedures, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Monitor communications systems, receive calls for service, and dispatch appropriate personnel to incidents, service requests, and critical situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating communications with on‑site personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Support regular and random patrol activities around transit facilities, business areas, and perimeter locations by tracking officer status and communicating relevant information.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security‑related experience.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
