Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (read/write/speak).
• Access control experience preferred.

• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Driver's license required for driving roles.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Dispatch Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, manage access control, and support timely responses to incidents. You will help maintain an organized environment through clear communication, customer service, and routine documentation. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor dispatch operations, access points, and vehicle movement to support authorized entry and exit of drivers, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel.
• Maintain dispatch logs, vehicle and trailer information, visitor records, incident documentation, and other required reports accurately and in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, dispatch-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of dispatch areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations according to site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
