Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures; direct individuals to appropriate locations and maintain required access documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
