Allied Universal is hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a delivery location in Boston, MA. The role runs Monday through Saturday from 5 PM to 11 PM, with starting pay of $23.31 per hour and paid orientation and training.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will deter incidents through visible presence, support a welcoming environment for staff and deliveries, and provide excellent customer service while following post orders and site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check may be required by law.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns calmly and following procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of loading and parking areas and perimeter sites.
• Monitor access and document observations, reporting suspicious activity or violations.

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Delivery Company in Boston MA

Monday - Saturday 5 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $23.31 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As a Security Officer in East Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry and exit points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor vehicle, visitor, and employee access in accordance with site-specific requirements, documenting observations and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
