Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for patrol operations in Raleigh, NC. You will monitor banking areas and entrances, deter unauthorized activity, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a clean background, and the ability to pass a drug screen. Schedule includes daytime shifts, with steady, full-time hours and a starting pay of $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally according to reporting procedures.

• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations per site requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and potential security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
