Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Pepper Spray Certification preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious persons, activities, and/or conditions according to site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed.


• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following applicable armed-post procedures and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.


• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.


• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
