As a Security Officer - Days Bicycle Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location. Ride a bike throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $16.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, public spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with established site procedures; report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
