Qualifications

• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and neighborhood property location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, surrounding sidewalks, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, or policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to ride a bike is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
