Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Pittston, PA. You will safeguard clients, provide customer service, monitor access points, and conduct patrols to deter incidents, while reporting observations per site procedures.

You will work a Fri/Sat/Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule with pay of $18.00 per hour. Training and career growth opportunities are available through our shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and following established entry and exit procedures.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
