GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring a Tactical Security Officer!

Are you ready to serve as a Tactical Security Guard? Success in this role depends on your ability to assess environments, anticipate risks, and respond appropriately. Highlight your keen observation skills.

As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical fitness is essential as you will be patrolling various environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

• Shift openings include: Thursday-Monday 2pm-10pm, Friday-Tuesday 10pm-6am, Saturday-Sunday 6am-10pm/Monday-Tuesday 6am-4pm, Wednesday 8am-12pm, Thursday-Friday 6am-12pm, Saturday-Sunday 6am-2pm.

Responsibilities of a Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to detect suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React promptly to threats or incidents.
• Check the functionality of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Complete end-of-day summary reports.
• Navigate independently using technology on-site.
• Be comfortable walking long distances.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications of a Tactical Security Guard

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Open availability.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• OSHA assessment.
• Computer literacy and comfort with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Must be at least 21 years old (driving age in Texas).
