Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check per laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs/reports.
• Observe hazards, property damage, and policy violations, and communicate concerns to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.

• Observe for potential hazards, property damage, and policy violations, promptly communicating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
