Allied Universal in Bristol, PA is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Patrol). You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and provide customer service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work at a dynamic location. Pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Applicants must meet experience requirements and may be subject to background checks and a drug screen as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2+ years in security supervision/management, or 3+ years in security-related roles.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and promptly report maintenance, hazardous conditions, and security concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and promptly reporting maintenance, hazardous condition, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
