Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local law.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of interior/exterior areas and parking to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entries or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity logs and shift communications per site requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site operations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
