Job summary

Allied Universal in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Security Officer Customer Experience Patrol to protect clients across logistics and distribution sites. Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for visitors and vendors, and maintain logs for entries, exits, deliveries, and incidents.
• Support orderly traffic flow for delivery vehicles and pedestrians following site procedures and communicating professionally with on-site personnel.

As a Security Officer Customer Experience Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-area disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailers, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for visitors and vendors, and maintain accurate logs for entries, exits, deliveries, and incidents.
• Support orderly traffic flow for delivery vehicles and pedestrians while following site-specific procedures and communicating professionally with on-site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
