Job summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer Customer Assistance in Wichita, KS. You will serve clients, monitor facilities, and deter incidents with proactive presence at a technology/telecom site.

You will provide exceptional customer service, document activities on a tablet, and work within a collaborative team to keep the environment safe and welcoming. The role is full-time with a daytime and evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A background history will be considered in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, including emergency activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter to identify hazards and concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security equipment and report observations per site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while collaborating with leadership and site personnel.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Assistance in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet tools to document activities. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related equipment, and report observations or incidents according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication records while working collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
