Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Springdale, AR. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and respond to security concerns at an aerospace/defense location.

This full-time role includes daytime shifts and a $14.75/hour pay rate with weekly pay. Responsibilities include conducting access-control procedures, maintaining records, patrolling areas, and communicating with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, unauthorized-access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and site personnel while reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
