Allied Universal, Fort Smith, AR, is seeking a Security Officer for Badge Verification at a food and beverage location. You will verify credentials, manage entry points, and document security information with a computer or tablet.

This full-time role includes weekly pay and a shift schedule that covers late-night hours. You will provide professional service to employees and visitors, respond to incidents, patrol premises, and ensure compliance with site procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge verification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen and direct vendors, contractors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site procedures, including coordination of entry requirements for restricted production and warehouse areas.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly report unusual activity through established security-related channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, business spaces, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access.

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Fort Smith, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to document security-related information, communicate concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
