You will operate screening equipment, perform access control, and help maintain a secure environment while delivering professional customer service.

This role offers a consistent schedule and a pay rate of $17.22 per hour, with opportunities to grow through training and our Shift a Shift platform for new roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• X-ray screening and access-control experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention and badge-access experience preferred.
• Applicants must meet age requirements (18+ for unarmed; 21+ for armed positions).

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel via site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and items entering/leaving the site according to procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points; report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, loading zones, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.

As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will operate screening equipment, conduct access control activities, and monitor designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer-focused support. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, and permitted items entering or leaving the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor screening equipment, access points, and surrounding areas; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site-specific escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading zones, facility entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
