As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Processing Patrol in Needham Heights, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and contractor entry in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and maintain required logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
