Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary badges, and maintain access logs and records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries per site procedures; escalate unauthorized access or irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols; notify appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Verification in Hatfield, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, security‑related policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary badges as directed, and maintain accurate access logs and related records.
• Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, escalating unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
