Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time to provide dependable, flexible security services at a residential site. You’ll earn competitive pay and have anchored shifts with the option to pick up additional hours through our scheduling platform.

This role offers a six‑month anchor commitment, front‑desk duties, visitor screening, access control, incident response, and detailed reporting.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Serve as a front-desk point of contact by greeting visitors, verifying access credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing residents and guests in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access to the property, observe lobby activity and/or surveillance systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying emergency responders and/or site management as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and front-desk logs while helping to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Security in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
