Job Description
As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Location: Atlanta, GA 30305

Pay: $16.97 Per Hour

Employment Type: Part Time

Workdays Available: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Shifts Available: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM and/or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Jobs Available:

• Part Time Overnight Officers
• On Call Officers (Shifts and Locations may vary)
• Part Time Weekend Officers

Locations Available:

• Buckhead
• Atlantic Station
• Midtown

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Key Responsibilities

• Access control: Monitoring and controlling entry points to offices and facilities, checking employee badges, and managing visitor access.
• Surveillance: Operating security cameras and monitoring systems to detect suspicious activities or breaches.
• Patrolling: Conducting regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety.
• Emergency response: Being prepared to respond to emergencies such as fires, medical situations, or security threats.
• Reporting: Documenting incidents, maintaining logs, and reporting concerns to management.
• Enforcing policies: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Screening: Conducting security screenings of personnel and packages.
• Liaison with law enforcement: Cooperating with authorities when necessary.
• Technology management: Operating security systems.
• Customer service: Assisting employees and visitors professionally.
• Asset protection: Safeguarding company assets.
• Training and drills: Participating in security training and emergency drills.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• State/local licensing requirements as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Additional Requirements

• 2 years of prior security experience.
• Comfort with computers or tablets.
• Ability to walk and stand long periods.
• Excellent customer service skills.
