Job Description

As a Security Officer - Concierge Patrol in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Front Desk Security Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will maintain a visible presence at the entry point, assisting with visitor management and access control. Your role involves monitoring for security-related incidents, providing excellent customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and guests. You will help to deter unwanted activity through your professional demeanor and attention to detail. Pay Rate: $14.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeMon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and delivery personnel at the front desk in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the facility, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate and coordinate with site management and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Follow established procedures and site-specific policies related to logistics and distribution operations.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.
• Maintain awareness of activities in the lobby and entry areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
