Pay: $19.43 - $21.00 / hr / Full Time 8-5 / Ongoing hiring / Remote position with residency in Oklahoma County area

Job Overview:

Do you want to make a community impact by advocating for elderly and disabled adults? Use your professional expertise to offer protective services and develop customer-centered service plans. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals are essential for success in this role.

Job Duties:

  • Receive intakes and investigate reports of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or exploitation of incapacitated adults; assess social, emotional, physical, mental, environmental, and financial circumstances
  • Interact with community professionals such as doctors, lawyers, court officials, clients, families, and alleged perpetrators
  • Process and investigate reports and official documents of maltreatment
  • Manage caseloads and gather relevant information
  • Assist clients in person and via phone with case inquiries
  • Develop and deliver in-service training, public presentations, and educational workshops for law enforcement, medical professionals, civic organizations, and community agencies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Patience, professionalism, empathy, honesty, tolerance, good time management, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to drive a state or personal vehicle with adequate auto insurance

Field Requirements:

Standing for long periods (up to 2 hours), navigating cluttered homes, exiting promptly in emergencies, climbing and descending stairs, and wearing protective gear such as gowns, masks, eye protection, and headgear if necessary.
