Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Communications Dispatcher in Lancaster, TX. You will coordinate communications, monitor alarms, dispatch personnel, and provide courteous customer service to clients and visitors.

This role offers flexible day and weekend shifts with the Claim a Shift platform, a focus on safety, and growth opportunities. A high school diploma and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background investigation as required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and on-site personnel by following security-related procedures, site policies, and emergency responses.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other dispatch communications for a technology infrastructure location.
• Document incidents, service requests, visitor activity, and critical events accurately and relay details to on-site personnel and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, dispatching appropriate resources per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and on-site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other dispatch communications for a technology infrastructure location.
• Document incidents, service requests, visitor activity, and critical events accurately, and communicate relevant details to on-site personnel and emergency responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, dispatching appropriate resources according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
