• Communicate clearly with field personnel and stakeholders to relay information and support incident response.
• Conduct regular and random patrols, report hazards and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Communications Coordinator in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and incoming reports; dispatch appropriate personnel and coordinate responses to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports, documenting calls for service, notifications, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate clearly with field personnel, transit operations staff, emergency responders, and other stakeholders to relay information and support coordinated incident response.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities and perimeter areas as directed, reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
