Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Seattle to provide reliable security services at a healthcare laboratory site. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners at a healthcare laboratory location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent service requests using radios, telephones, and other systems; maintain logs and incident records.
• Monitor alarms and access-related notifications; relay information to personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify security concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Communications Driver in Seattle, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or delivery partners at a healthcare laboratory location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch routine and urgent service requests using radios, telephones, and/or other communication systems; maintain accurate activity logs and incident records.
• Monitor incoming communications, alarms, and access‑related notifications; promptly relay relevant information to appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
