Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Dispatch Communications in Dallas, TX to monitor communications, coordinate security responses, and support access control at a technology and data infrastructure location. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain dispatch logs, and coordinate with security personnel to respond to alarms and incidents.

This role offers regular evening shifts, a stable full-time schedule, and opportunities for growth within a leading security

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and coordinate communications for calls, alarms, service requests, and incidents.
• Dispatch security personnel and resources in response to alarms and incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed through proper channels.
• Maintain dispatch logs and shift handoff records to support continuity.

Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and data infrastructure location.
• Monitor and coordinate communications for incoming calls, alarms, service requests, and incident reports, documenting activity and notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Dispatch security-related personnel and support resources in response to alarms, access concerns, visitor issues, and other critical situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift handoff information while supporting access control and operational continuity.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
