Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor communications systems, receive and document calls for service, dispatch appropriate personnel, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate contacts and emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access control, alarm, camera, and communication systems and report anomalies to site leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify security-related concerns and support site operations.

• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor communications systems, receive and document calls for service, dispatch appropriate personnel, and maintain accurate incident, activity, and shift logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by established procedures.
• Monitor access control, alarm, camera, and communication systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help identify security‑related concerns and support site operations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
