Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Commercial Premises in New York, NY. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program, designed to provide reliability and opportunities to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.50 per hour with a DayTime shift on Tuesdays 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM. This position supports a commercial real estate site and aims to deliver strong customer service and security operations.

Qualificações

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and assigned access points; verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive tenant and visitor experience.

As a Security Officer - Commercial Premises, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

DayTimeTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
