Allied Universal in New York, NY is hiring for the Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Awareness to provide dependable, flexible hours at a designated site. The role offers anchor shifts and the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform, enabling earnings growth while gaining experience in the security field.

The position requires a valid NYS Security Guard License, at least one year of security-related experience, and a high school diploma.

Qualificações

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and agency partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building interiors, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe and report unusual activity, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Support a respectful and professional environment by communicating clearly with individuals from diverse backgrounds and following established government facility procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Awareness in New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
