As a Security Officer Commercial Facility Full Time Access Control in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service to tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor building entry points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, vendors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related activities and site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
