• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, manage guest registration, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entryways, and the property perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Support a welcoming residential environment by providing directions, enforcing property access procedures, and reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.

As a Security Officer Commercial Facility Full Time Access Control in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents through a visible, professional presence. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.30 - $19.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
